Prince of Wales Hotel Wedding.
Jakki’s wedding day started at her parents home, we joined her as she was having her hair braided. The home was a hive of activity and became busier and louder once her bridesmaids arrived.
Everybody was giddy and there was fun in the air. We started with a few photographs of Jakkis wedding dress and shoes. A beautiful dress with some lovely detail in the waistband. Her bridal shoes were a nice touch, bright red and her dad had glued a little message for Alex on the bottom of them.
We continued to photograph as Jakki had her makeup done and had a little fun photographing the hustle and bustle around her. Once in her dress she really looked the part, a beautiful bride smiling from ear to ear, as she and her bridesmaids put the finishing touches together.
We rushed over to All saints church to get ready for her arrival and the chance to catch up with Alex and his best man.
He looked calm and said he was feeling fine but his foot tapping gave away a little nerves. The ceremony was lovely and there were some very wise words spoken during the wedding service.
After leaving the church to a flurry of confetti the newlyweds posed for a few group photographs before we all headed to the Prince of Wales hotel for the rest of the days’ celebrations.

This is only my second wedding at the prince of wales hotel and this one was in the ballroom, a beautiful room that gives you a feel of what this venue was when it was the place to be.
It’s a lovely wedding venue with a rich history and Jakki had decorated it beautifully with her own personal touches. The couple made a grand entrance coming down the double staircase to join their guests for the wedding breakfast.
After getting a few pictures we left the guest to eat while we regrouped and enjoyed our meal (Thank you Jakki & Alex). later that evening as the rest of the wedding guest arrived the couple cut there amazing cake before taking to the dance floor for their first dance together as man and wife.
A lovely and good dry autumn day for a special wedding. Congratulations to you both once again and thank you for choosing us to be a part of it.
We hope you love your pictures as much as we do and enjoy them as much as we did taking them x
