Baby Aidoo -Maternity photography

Nearly a year ago I photographed Precious & Jerald’s wedding day. I was delighted when they got in touch to say they were pregnant and could I commemorate the event with a maternity photo shoot.

The couple live in Essex but Precious has family in the northwest and wanted to have the shoot on Morecambe beach. Just down the road from where she had her bridal shower last year.

I met the couple along with some of their friends and family by the clock tower in Morecambe. What made this photo shoot a little more interesting was. The couple had no idea of the sex of their soon to be newborn baby. The details from their scan had been given to Precious’s sister and the shoot would include a reveal to the couple. I had also been asked not to be tell. Firstly because that way I couldn’t inadvertently spill the beans early and secondly I wanted to guess too.

The reveal would be in the form of a box of coloured balloons that the couple would open together and of course, they would be blue for a boy and pink for a girl.

As always the couples were a pleasure to work with and their friends fun and friendly. I am looking forward to meeting Jr. in August and at last, I can say publicly CONGRATULATIONS to you both!!!!! I know you will make fantastic parents.
