I wanted to share a fun Gothic bride wedding photography shoot I did recently in Southport. It all started when I went for lunch and saw a beautiful wedding dress in a charity shop. It had a vintage/Victorian look and it sparked an idea for a fun Gothic bridal shoot.
I had the ideal model in mind Lauren. I met her at a wedding we photographed last year. She had told me she was studying photography and fancied working with me on a project.
Tina had some fantastic ideas on how her makeup should look. We got together and took her for a walk around the park in Churchtown, Southport. We received some interesting looks from passers-by. It approached the time the schools would be letting out and parents started to gather the looks became more quizzical especially at the sight of a bride climbing a tree!
As wedding photographers, it’s good to use this time of year when business is a little slower to try new and interesting projects. This certainly was one fun and interesting project.
