Wedding at Alrewas Hayes.
I have been looking forward to Ruth & Johns wedding at Alrewas Hayes since they contacted me. I photographed her sisters wedding a few years ago. See her wedding album here.
Too many photographs.
Generally, I like my wedding albums to be smaller. My target is normally 300 images. I think that quality is much more important than quantity and I would rather have 200 really good images than 1,000 ok pictures.
This wedding was tough, I guess not helped by having a second shooter whose work I really like and he is also a person who I trust.
This album has ended up closer to 550 images. Now that’s a lot for me but that’s not the end of the story. There is another page for this wedding. I am a little embarrassed to say how many pictures are in the final album but it is a lot. The problem is I love every one of them and they all tell the story of the day.
Once the full edit is complete you will be able to access the complete album through this link>>.
This is a beautiful wedding venue and a private home. Alrewas Hayes is a historic country estate set in beautiful grounds. The 100-acre estate boasts beautiful walks, stunning scenery and a lake.
This grade II listed Queen Anne residence is more than capable of hosting weddings and corporate evening for as few as 6 people and as many as 650.
When you book your wedding at Alrewas Hayes you have exclusive use of the property for the weekend.
The main house dates back to 1066 and is believed to be the extensive Staffordshire woodland noted in the doomsday book.
