Mottram Hall Wedding
Sarah & Marcus had their beautiful Mottram Hall Wedding on Friday. This is a wedding venue I am always happy to be at.
Wedding Slide Show.
I joined Sarah during her bridal preparation. I had enlisted the help of a friend and very talented 2nd wedding photographer for the day, Kevin Brown.
Kevin joined Marcus with his best man and brother as they prepared for the big day. He captured them getting ready beautifully and even had time to pose Marcus in the reception room and in front of the building.
I focused my efforts with the bride as she had her hair and makeup done while at the same time trying to keep her mother from photographing everything. As Sarah was getting ready her bridesmaids popped in and out checking on her progress and occasionally posing for a quick photograph.
I was no surprise that Sarah looked stunning when complete in her wedding dress and made up for the day. Her wedding dress was classic and elegant with detailed perfectly and of course, she rocked the Jimmy Choos.
The wedding ceremony.
The St Andrews Suit had been decorated beautifully as always, from the use of lights, props, trees and candles. It all fitted together perfectly but Mottram Hall has a great deal of experience with weddings.
It took a little bit of time to get the groom into position to await his bride, but once he was he didn’t look too nervous and his brother helped keep him focused. The service was heartfelt and straightforward with the typical slight miss wordings and laughter.
Sarah and Marcus had asked that straight after the wedding service we sneak off for a quick newlyweds photo shoot, so we did. Mottram Hall has plenty of places to make beautiful images, from the gardens out in the back, the front of the building and along the entrance path to name just a few.
We got the couple back in good time to be prepped and hidden away before being announced to their guest as the new Mr & Mrs We had just enough time to get some room shots before the guest came pouring in.
The wedding speeches as expected where a good mix of emotions, tears of happiness and all well humoured. Marcus did well to keep it together and it was apparent his words where from the heart. The father of the bride kept it short and sweet, just as he promised. The grooms best man, had plenty of ammunition, well, I guess as his brother he has known him a long time……… but he kept it all in good taste and brought out plenty of tears of laughter.
Getting the pictures down to just a selection is always tough.
