Wedding photography in Formby
Formby has some beautiful wedding venues and it is always a special place for me to photograph.
Your wedding is about you and my part is to capture your day and give you lasting memories through the photographs I create for you. I understand that you will need me to organise the tradition group photographs but for most of the day I will blend in and cause as little disruption as possible.
I love to be a part of a wedding day and enjoy the interaction with your guests but also like to capture images where people don’t know they are being photographed, it gives a natural and honest feel to the images.
Every wedding is different and together we will draw up a plan for your wedding photography to make sure you get the best from me and i am able to be in the right places at the right time.
To help i will outline a typical wedding day.
During a typical wedding day I will be there with the bride and her bridesmaids for the wedding preparation (if you prefer I can arrange to have a female photographer capture these images). Where possible I will get some photographs of the groom and groomsmen getting ready too, before heading off to your wedding venue to capture images of your guests, your husband to be and the decorated wedding venue.
I take photographs throughout the wedding service (local restrictions may apply, please consult with your registrar or priest). depending on how you have your day planned I will take formal group photographs after the service of you, your family and guests. It is normal to have your guest throw the confetti at this time and i will be on hand to capture the photographs here too.
If your wedding reception is at a different location to your wedding service I will make my way there and photograph the table decorations and venue details and be ready to get images of you and your groom arriving.
depending on your preference and time of year we may take some time out here to let you two slip away from your guests together while we have a couples shoot and a chance for you two to catch your breath. This may be something we do after the wedding breakfast but again this is your choice.
As you and your guest mingle I will be photographing interactions and capturing those natural candid moments.
Depending on the timings of your speeches I will normally take the opportunity to regroup and have something to eat myself during your wedding breakfast and be ready to spring into action for your speeches. As well as capturing images of the speeches I will include guest reactions and some of the things you will not notice going on during this time.
After this we may have your couples shoot or just continue with the candid photography as we get ready to photograph the cutting of your cake and your first dance together as husband and wife. I will get some pictures of your guests dancing and some of the activities after your dance but i generally start to wrap up around then and leave you to enjoy the rest of your day.
This generally works out at around 10 hours but as I said every wedding is different and together we will put together a plan around your wedding day.
After your wedding.
This is for me where the real work starts, all your photographs will be edited, colour corrected, exposure balanced and made to to look their very best. Within about two weeks I will have a selection of your pictures ready to be viewed. We can either arrange for me to come and present your images to you in the privacy of your own home or I will make them available for viewing on your own wedding web page, this can be either public or private depending on your preference.
If you like i will make a selection of them available for sharing on social media too.
After this I will start to design your wedding album and make a first draft available for your viewing. Only once you are happy with the design will it be ordered and payment will become due. This goes for any additional printed or digital images you wish to purchase.
