Elements 2017

Cardiff Asian Society is all about embracing and showcasing the Asian culture and traditions to Cardiff students whilst providing a welcoming and homely environment away from home. Through celebrations of major religious festivals, to casual dinners and socials, and our annual showcase event: Elements 2017 aims to provide a holistic experience for the student community.

Join the society and get plenty of opportunities to attend great events as well as meet a lot of new people. There are also plenty of opportunities for students to not only showcase their talents but to also learn and progress in genres such as dancing, singing, playing instruments and even acting!

What is elements?

From traditional dance to salsa, from Tamil melodies to indo-western remixes, from vintage Bollywood to unforgettable love stories, and from strangers to friends, Elements 2017 has it all. A show that illustrates perfectly the diversity of the Asian culture, and has seen an increase in popularity since its birth in 2011. Elements aims to appeal to not only the members of Asian Soc, but to all the students across Cardiff University, both international and local, as well as to the local community. It is the pinnacle of all Asian Society events and, as has been the trend, it will not fail to impress!

Cardiff’s biggest culture show and our most anticipated event of the year is back once again. This time with the biggest cast we’ve ever seen!!

This year we see a boy faced with a classic tale of east meets west. So grab your tickets fast to find out who will win in this Elements 2017 “CULTURE CLASH!”

On Saturday 1st April, Cardiff Asian Society will be putting on the ultimate production. From the finest acting skills to many different genres of dance, from quality singing to talented musicians; there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
