Barnsley House Wedding – Britta & Hamish

Barnsley House Wedding.

Britta & Hamish had their wedding day at the Barnsley House, a beautiful Cotswold wedding venue in Cirencester, Gloucestershire,

We joined Britta for her bridal preparation in the secret garden room, photographed her, her dress, accessories and of course her Jimmy Choo’s.

Pre-wedding drinks

I joined Hamish and the boys as they relaxed and had a few drinks in the village pub. Follow them at @The_Village_Pub, a warm friendly bunch who’ll pass you a pint through an open window.

I made it back to Barnsley House just in time to see Britta in her wedding dress. She looking stunning and beaming with excitement as she waited with her father to be escorted down the aisle.

The wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place outside, on the front lawn in front of the Gothic Summer House. There was a light shower, but that didn’t disturb the guests. Hamish stood nervously waiting for his bride to join him.

After the wedding service, we mingled among the guests taking some candid photographs. A good time for the couple greeted their friends and family. later we took the newlyweds off for a walk in the grounds. This gives them some time to catch their breath and a little couples photo shoot. The grounds at Barnsley House offer some beautiful spots to photograph. We made the most of them before the couple rejoined their guests.

The wedding breakfast gave us a chance to regroup and get a bite to eat before the speeches and the evening’s festivities began.

Cotswold wedding

A beautiful wedding at a fantastic venue and a couple very much in love, it was a pleasure to photograph the day and be a part of it.

If you are looking for your very own Cotswold wedding venue you must take a look at Barnsley House.

  2. Barnsley House is a country hotel like no other. Contemporary and stylish but packed with character, it is less a hotel and more your very own Cotswolds countryside retreat.

So, forget about formality and say goodbye to airs and graces. The moment you step inside, you’ll feel at home. Want to relax in your room or enjoy a meal in the gardens? Be our guest. Fancy unwinding in the Barnsley Spa & Skincare Centre? Stroll on over. Need help arranging an activity with a difference? Consider it done.

From our staff and service to your room and amenities, everything at Barnsley House is about giving you the opportunity to do as you please. You wouldn’t want it any other way. And neither would we

  3. We recently stopped off at Barnsley House for lunch on our route south to Bath. We were interested to see what had happened to Rosemary Verey’s garden.

Although we hadn’t booked, the welcome we received was as if we were expected and valued guests. Overall, the service was prompt, efficient and really very kind. We felt so at home that we were disappointed that we weren’t able to return in the evening for an overnight stay. We will be back to enjoy more of Barnsley House as soon as we can.

  4. Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword.
