Kirstie & Lee's Lancashire Wedding Churchtown Southport

I Knew Kirsties mum from school and had gotten to know her again through good old Facebook so when i heard her daughter was getting married i jumped at getting in touch.

I met with Kirstie & Tina (her mum) in a local McDonalds, I could believe how much they looked alike and how little Tina had changed.

We went though all the wedding details and decided we'd have an engagement shoot too (there will be a link to that somewhere on my site).

The day of the wedding I turned up at Tina's with Lloyd assisting me to be greater By a very giddy Kirstie who threw herself at me as i walked hop the driveway.

The house was as expected a busy hive of activity with hairstylists, make up and bridesmaids all running around getting ready for the wedding day.

We started photographing the bridal preparations and some of the beautiful wedding details.

The bride and her father traveled to St. Cuthbert's Church by horse and carriage, it is a short drive from her home in Churchtown Southport.

The bride looked stunning on her wedding day and the horse and carriage really fitted in well with the beautiful Tudor buildings, thatched roofs and cobbled lanes at the St. Cuthbert's church, Churchtown is a stunning setting for a wedding day and a great place to be a wedding photographer.

There service was lovely and Kirstie managed to keep it together (just).

We took some group photographs, confetti and bouquet toss images outside of the church making good use of this beautiful setting before moving on to the Floral hall for the wedding reception.

After the wedding breakfast we were able to steel the bride and groom away for a little fun photoshoot and to give them both a few minutes to catch their breath and spend a little time together. We took photographs of them by the marine lake, on the bridge, outside Funland and at the back of the Ramada Hotel before they rejoined their guests.

Tina had booked the bridal suit for them in the Ramada Hotel next door, a beautiful room overlooking the marine lake and the bridge, we couldn't resist taking the opportunity to slip up to their room and get a photograph of them on their balcony with the bridge all lit up at night. It made for a stunning signature wedding photograph.

The first dance was romantic and Lee was a little unsure of where to put his feet but the energy really started when the bride and father of the bride took to the dance floor, think Pulp Fiction.

It was a fantastic day and both myself and Lloyd had a ball, Kirstie, Lee and Tina thank you so much for allowing us to come along as the days wedding photographers, love you all to bits x
